The first Fusion Facilitators networking evening was held on Friday 27th November in Weymouth, Dorset (UK). Those who attended thoroughly enjoyed the evening, being served with wine and hand-made canapés with live entertainment from local performer James Kirkby.
During the evening there was opportunity to network with other Facilitators, as well as hearing all the latest developments from Better Parents. Better Parents will be holding more Facilitators Networking evenings and an annual award ceremony in the future. This year the first 'Facilitator of The Year' award was awarded to Emily Cooke in recognition of her valuable contribution to Fusion courses and to celebrate the professional development that has been recognised in her as a result of facilitating several Fusion courses ...

Fusion has gone to Goa, India!
Our first cross cultural pilot Fusion programme has begun in Goa, India. The pilot course is being held in Ranjit and Synthia’s home with 12 parents attending. The sessions are being held monthly, in order for the participants to fully understand and begin to practice the skills and strategies introduced.
Karen and Katy had the privilege of meeting Ranjit and his wife Synthia and their family whilst they were visiting the UK in October. Ranjit and Synthia were keen to talk about their success stories and share how parents have been impacted through Fusion. These early indications show the Fusion course to be as effective in their culture as has been the case in the UK.
Once the pilot Fusion course has been completed in Goa, we will be looking at further support and training opportunities to help develop the potential for Fusion being more widely available in Goa. |

Some exciting news! We have now created three teenage scenarios to use in sessions 1, 2 and 5 of the The Fusion Programme™.
These scenarios are for Fusion Facilitators to use instead of the scenarios in the Fusion Workbook, where teenage scenarios might be more relevant to a particular Fusion group.
The teenage scenarios can be downloaded from the Downloads section of this website (you need to be logged in to download resources, but registration is free). The scenarios can be reproduced on a colour printer and passed out to participants during a Fusion session to substitute for the scenario in the Workbook. |
