Katy, Jo, Nicky, Carol and Claire celebrate success The first Fusion Facilitators networking evening was held on Friday 27th November in Weymouth, Dorset (UK). Those who attended thoroughly enjoyed the evening, being served with wine and hand-made canapés with live entertainment from local performer James Kirkby.

During the evening there was opportunity to network with other Facilitators, as well as hearing all the latest developments from Better Parents. Better Parents will be holding more Facilitators Networking evenings and an annual award ceremony in the future. This year the first 'Facilitator of The Year' award was awarded to Emily Cooke in recognition of her valuable contribution to Fusion courses and to celebrate the professional development that has been recognised in her as a result of facilitating several Fusion courses ...

Emily said: "I was very shocked and lost for words when I was awarded Fusion Facilitator of the Year 2009. I am really enjoying running the Fusion groups at Southwell Primary School. I feel I have grown as a parent, and I always learn something new from each group. I am so lucky to be a part of the Fusion team."

Further events will be posted on the website and there will be an opportunity in 2010 to nominate Facilitators for this award.
